Young Jhett Skaggs is an example of perseverance at only two years of age, having survived a heart transplant and a permanently compromised immune system. His parents, Brian and Audra, and sister Merit, were doing the best they could to keep mold and germs away from Jhett in the family's termite-ridden house, where even the well water was unsafe to drink. Now the family can deal with Jhett's medical needs in the clean environment of a new, custom-built home from "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and United Rentals.
